Sauces by Rosa


There are so many wonderful "sughi" and "salse" in Italian cuisine.
I like to use organic ingredients whenever possible. Some
examples are:

  • pesto alla Genovese
  • pesto alla Trapanese
  • marinara (tomatoes and garlic)
  • sugo semplice (tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil)
  • alfredo (butter, cream and parmesan)
  • asparagus, ham and cream
  • primavera (vegetables in light cream)
  • peppers and cream
  • ragú (meat sauce)
  • mushrooms amd cream
  • porcini mushrooms, (with or without cream)
  • zucchini and ricotta
  • caprese (mozzarella, tomatoes, basil)
  • zucchini and prosciutto
  • tomatoes, artichockes, peppers and olives
  • tomatoes, black olive tapenade, anchovies
  • butter and sage
  • aglio, olio e peperoncino
  • broccoli, carote, aglio e olio
  • sugo di pomodoro con cipolle, carote e sedano
  • sugo alla carrettiera (garlic, tomatoes, basil)
