Ciao, benvenuti nella mia casa in rete!

Welcome to my home on the World Wide Web!

After many travels and adventures, I am back home in Sacramento.

I had moved to beautiful Arcata back in October of 2008,
to complete a postdoctoral training at Humboldt State Universtity's
Counseling and Psychological Services.

After completing the program, in June 2009, I traveled to Fairfield, Iowa,
to immerse myself in the beautiful silence and creativity
that permeate the meditating community, for a much needed period of de-stress and profound rest.
4 awesome months, during which I had wonderful meditations,
slept great, and met a lot of wonderful people.
Finally visited the Center for Brain, Consciousness and Cognition
at Maharishi University. Its director, Dr. Fred Travis had been a great advisor and supporter
during the writing of my doctoral dissertation.

In early October, I decided to come back to California to focus on my professional development.
I drove Vannie and the kitties back to Sacramento.
It was a great adventure: we got stuck on the Rockies,
in Wyoming, by ice and snow, among other things.

And so, here I am , at the begnmning of a brand new professional career,
studying for the licensing exam and, finally, beginning to reap the fruits
of all these years of studying and sacrificing.

At this point, I continue teaching
Italian conversation classes, to those interested,
as well as cooking classes.
I also offer consultations in Italian cooking and style to restaurants
as well as to individuals.

As a guest in my web-house, you are welcome to

I believe in health-oriented cooking, meant to satisfy
both the senses and the soul.
